okay, to some extent sounds plausible, but my problem occurs when there are - as shown in the picture - two strands of polymers - it looks just like two chromatides of DNA, but that cannot be meant, can it?
and then: let's assume dna actually replicated, how come it actually turned into something like a protozoon with task sharing "organs"?

on the molecular basis - where do the surrounding ions come from? redox reactions to actually form the polymer? why do the ions not go somewhere else? ...I'd like to see the chemical formulas to understand it more clearly plz
